OPTIMIST SAILING PROGRAMME

A One-on-One Intro Sailing Program for Kids is a fantastic way to introduce children to the joys of sailing in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. With personalized instruction, kids can learn at their own pace, ensuring they develop confidence and skills on the water. 

The program is designed to be age-appropriate, ensuring that the lessons are engaging, safe, and fun. Younger children may start with simple, fun activities like learning to balance on the boat or how to work the sails with assistance, while older kids might tackle more technical skills.

OPTIMIST INTRO PROGRAMME

The one-on-one approach ensures that the child receives personalized attention, helping them overcome any fears or nervousness about sailing. With each success, they’ll feel more confident in their ability to handle the boat and enjoy their time on the water.

Rp. 400.000,- (one-on-one)

• 1 hour session

• This course is to introduce sailing to beginner (age 7 to 12)

• The goal is to introduce basic sailing 

OPTIMIST LEVEL 1 PROGRAMME

The program allows for gradual progression. They can start with basic concepts like how to hold the tiller and slowly work up to more challenging skills, such as tacking or navigating the boat through the water.

• • 16 hours session (2 hours per session)

  • This course is to introduce sailing to beginner (age 7 to 12)

  • The goal is to build awarenes of the sailing environment

Pre – Requisites 

• Min Age 7 years old to 12 years

• Water confindence and be happy wearing a buoyancy aid in the water

• Course fee : Inclusive of course fees, equipment, & certification 

• Training dates are subject to changes

Terms and Conditions

• Bali Sailing Centre reserves the right to cancel a session due to weather condition and replacement classes will be provided

• No replacement classes will be provided for any missed sessions without a medical certificate.

• Training dates are subject to changes

• Full payment for any programs must be made either in cash, major credit cards, bank transfer/paynow with the registration form 1 week before the commencement of the Course.

• The course fee is non-transferrable and non-refundable.

• In the event of cancellation made by the participants, the following fees shall apply:

  • Less than 2 days – 50% of the course fee

  • Less than 1 days – No Refund

What to Bring: 

• • Sun block lotion

  • Sunglasses and retention strap 

  • Rubber soled shoes or sailing booties 

  • Rash guard or T-shirt & swim long tights or pants

  • Hat 

  • A pair of sailing gloves 

  • Water bottle

  • Towel

  • Extra clothing

  • Meal

  • Snack

  • Writing materials (notebook & pen)
